Can Not Get Photos in the Computer!

I am so frustrated because I cannot get the photo card to work in my computer. That is what happens when you get a new camera. The old one was so nice. It was old and I had an opportunity to get this really fancy one free, so I could not refuse. My Lady will also get the older one free so she can take more pictures and better ones of me and my buddies. I could really get that one working just fine. You have seen how many great photos I have had. However, I will learn to use the new one and fix it so I can put the new pictures in my blog. I am determined, but I am going to shake my blue toy for a while and calm down. I am growling! Oh, well, I will get a different umbilical cord to connect the camera and see how that works. The card in its little case sure DOES NOT WORK! Gee, I work so hard to write this blog. Now I have to go shopping, or Great Lady will go for me, and get this new device. Hope it works then. I will either have new photos tomorrow or have to keep using the old ones. I have quite a few though so it will be okay. My Lady and Gentle Sir are going out for dinner tonight with Great Lady and Great Sir so I know they will bring me a good treat. My mouth is watering already. Have a nice day, and I will get back to you tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

I am back!

I was pleased to have Dragon Hawke, my buddy, fill in for me yesterday, but I am clipped and back at work. My Lady, Great Lady, and Great Sir went to the post office yesterday and applied for their pass ports. I hear that Miss E, Uncle R's daughter has been engaged, and she and her fiance will be married on a cruise ship next May. Wow! Wish I could go along on that trip. I am sure Gentle Sir will make arrangements for me, Dragon Hawke, and Gabriel then because I don't think they will allow dogs on a cruise ship, even if we behave well, almost better than an lot of people I know. Maybe Son J will be here to take care of us. I sure like him, too. He does a very good job. I have never been on a boat but have heard about it from Cody, Uncle R's Golden Retriever. He goes on the boat often and even travels full-time in a motor home. It is amazing what dogs do. I understand that many motor home people and even boaters have dogs with them full-time. Well, have to get some other things done now. Will write more tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

A Busy Day for My Lady!

Kheldar is busy today, so I am helping out. You know I am Dragon Hawke, the Papillion, and I have been all thinned out for the winter. I have more fur than I need, so twice a year, I have some grooming done so I don't shed much at all. I look very much the same, before and after. Kheldar, on the other hand, has to be clipped because he gets too matted and looks awful otherwise. Of course, Gabriel, the Chinese Crested Puff, really needs to be clipped so he looks like a miniature Afghan. He really looks neat afterward. His fur was so thick that he could hardly see through it, but when it is done, he looks terrific. Well, the grooming is really getting done and we should be ready for pictures soon. I understand Great Sir is going to take the photos and even will try to do an audio of our singing. You know that we are one of the best singing trios in the doggie world. Many plans are in the works with Great Lady and Great Sir here visiting. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie, written by Dragon Hawke, the Papillion.

All Done!

We are all done! The last picture has been hung and even laundry was finished. I have been running from one place to the other watching everything, like a good dog would, so I am glad that is all done and everything looks great. Plus all the big boxes are ready to go to the trash. Even have some good photos of me if Great Sir ever gets them in the computer. It is just a busy time here, but now, I hope, everyone can sit down and watch a good movie or play bridge. At least that is what My Lady says is fun for them when they don't have to work. I just like to lie here on my pillow and snooze. I imagine Great Lady and Great Sir will be here soon, so I am getting my rest so I can bark and greet them at the door. They expect that, I guess. Will write again soon. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Almost Done!

Here we are lying on the bed watching the action. My Lady, Great Lady, and Great Sir are hanging up all the family pictures in the bedroom. And My Lady has a lot of family pictures. First the collages went up, and they have an assortment of all kinds of family pictures in one frame. Then, the old photos of the great grand- parents and the grandparents were put up around the collages. My Lady has some terrific photos of Great Sir and Great Lady who have been married for 58 years in December. You can imagine that over the years, they have accrewed quite a few pictures. Then, there are the photos of the children and grand children. So cute. And there are pictures of Gideon, a darling full-sized Yorkshire Terrier who was the very first one in the family. Great Lady always said that he had personality, and she really loved that one almost as much as she likes me. Of course, there was also Lady Hawke, the first teacup yorkie in the family who even had the cutest puppies ever. Talk about tiny, they were very small and so precious. Naturally, they are all long gone, but they sure gave My Lady the desire to have more dogs and always a Yorkie in the bunch. That is why we now have a Chinese Crested Puff, a Papillion, and me, the real Teacup Yorkshire Terrier. My picture will be up there one day, but I have the blog, and that is really special. Love until tomorrow from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

What Fun My Lady Had!

Yesterday, Gentle Sir took My Lady, Great Lady and Great Sir to a fine restaurant for a late lunch. This was kind of a payment for all the work hanging the pictures. It is a job Gentle Sir does not like to do, and Great Sir does it with grace and terrific patience as Great Lady tells him where to place each one. "Well, first we have to move the desk and put the cases with all the CDs in it in place of the desk." Now, this is no small task because all the CDs fall on the floor and have to be realphabetized because My Lady thinks they have to be that way. Of course, there are hundreds of them--two large book cases filled with CDs. Then, too, the desk is heavy, and My Lady had to help move it without hurting her back. Then, they started hanging the pictures. First, the large wolf picture, then the smaller wolves, the snow cats, and eventually the oils that My Lady painted years ago. Great Lady especially likes "The Wave" and "Moonlight on Monteray Bay." Well, eventually they got 27 pictures done, a clock, and heavy mirror. I am glad to say that I was at the groomer's and came home when it was all done. I look pretty spiffy, too. This is the photo of me before the trimming. I will try to get my spiffy look in soon. They had a good dinner and were very happy. I got some treats, too. It was a great day. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.
