I Am Still Mad!

I am still mad and upset about losing my toy, as you can see. There is no green, fluffy, squeaky toy in front of me. I can't believe Gabriel destroyed it. My Lady told me she would buy me a new one; however, it could not replace the special one Great Lady and Great Sir gave me. I know the story about the mouse, but I don't believe it. I am still waiting for an apology. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Here Is the Culprit!

This is Gabriel, the Chinese Crested Puff, looking guilty because he is. He took my bright green stuffed toy that Great Lady and Great Sir brought for me, and he chewed it all up to get the squeaker out of it and got the stuffing all over the house. My Lady asked, "How could you have destroyed Kheldar's nice toy?" Gabriel said, "There was a mouse inside it, a rodent that was going to hurt you so I had to save your life." He was disappointed that it was only a plastic squeaker, but still thought he had done a good deed. Well, I won't forget this catastrophe for a while yet, and Gabriel will have to apologize to me. I still have the life-less shell of the toy, but it is not the same. Gabriel says, "I know it was a viscious mouse and if you can't appreciate what I did for you, there is no justice in the world." Kheldar reconsidered and said, "Well, I won't treat your toys so well either. I am still upset. I do love all the rest of you though. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

New Photo of My New Toy!

We finally did it! We got the new photos in the computer so I could send them on to you. Here is one Great Sir took of me with my new green toy. Of course, this is the great toy with the squeaker in it that Gabriel ripped apart. I am so sad. I really liked my new toy and could make it squeak like it was supposed to do. Now it is all gone except the outside cover. Oh, well, at least we got the pictures. I will send some others in the days to come. Hope he takes some more photos before they leave on Friday. Now that I can incorporate them on the computer, I am very excited. More tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Waiting for the Greats!

Here I am waiting for Great Lady and Great Sir to come and hopefully finish the book. It is a book about dogs, you know, and it sounds really interesting. Great Lady spent hours yesterday reading chapters seven, eight, and nine aloud so they could be fixed and edited by the three authors together. Sounded good to me. Have fifteen more pages to finish and then it should be good enough for the proof copy. I will let you know when it comes to Amazon.com for sale, if it ever gets done. The Greats will be leaving Friday so they better get it done soon. I will hate to see them go because they are nice and I always get a lot more petting when they are here. They brought me a neat toy because I do so much work for them, providing the material for the blog; however, Gabriel played with my green puffy toy and tore it apart to get the squeaker out of it and then scattered the stuffing all over the floor. I don't mind sharing, but that was awful. I still have the limp body of the toy, but the squeaker is gone. Not much fun anymore. Oh, well, it was nice while it lasted. Will write more tomorrow if I can. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Editing the Book!

Here are Gabriel, Dragon Hawke, and I watching My Lady, Great Lady, and Great Sir working on the book. They are busy rereading the last few chapters, editing them, and adding a bit to fill out the ideas that needed revising. It won't be long now until they can send in the copy for the proof book for the final check. It seems to be a great deal of work and takes a lot of time to get everything just so. Well, threesomes are always good. We three dogs do very well together. What one doesn't think of the other two do. The same way with the three authors. They really work at it, and enjoy doing it, too. They promised to be back tomorrow and will try to finish it. I will be glad when that is done so they can all pay more attention to us. Of course, My Lady takes care of us first, no matter what. I like Great Sir and Great Lady to play with us, too. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Then, they will be leaving soon. I will really miss them, and I know My Lady will be lonely then and will really need my love. Until tomorrow, Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

What a Storm!

I am hiding on the sofa and trying to be as good as possible. We are having a bad storm here. I hear that it is from the hurricane Ike, and it is hitting us here in St. Louis. Imagine that! It rained and rained, causing flooding under the viaducts especially. My Lady had to take detours going to church because of flooded areas and a terrible accident caused by the storm. Then, the power was off for a while and a tree was down on the road, knocking down a series of power lines. Now we know what those poor people in Texas are going through, but it is much worse there. I am sure it will be better here soon. I am just going to stay here on the sofa and wait until it is over. Until tomorrow, Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.
