Going for a Walk!

I think I am not only going for a walk here, but I may be walking back to our older blog: Kheldar's Yorkie Blog. com. It does seem like it is an easier one to use and find, and I just can't keep doing two blogs every day. I getting ready to have more company soon. Great Lady and Great Sir are coming and they really keep us busy. Of course, they are going to be moving furniture, hanging all the pictures and paintings, and just making things hum around here for a couple of weeks. I will be so busy that I may not even be able to do one blog. Love to have them come, but oh, my, it is different. They are the very busiest older folks that I have ever seen. They will be celebrating 58 years of marriage in a couple of months. They have to close up their tiny little cottage in South Dakota because it is getting cold there already and then they drive down to Arkansas to see relatives, and to Nashville to see the great grandsons and grand children, of course, then come to see us on their way back to Florida. Think of that! Well, here's until tomorrow. I will try to write then. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Back to Normal!

I think things are getting back to normal now after the wonderful weekend we had with the family. I will say, however, it will take us all a while to get back the sleep we lost, waiting up for them to arrive after they got lost on the trip, sitting at night watching movies, talking to catch up on all the news, and playing computer games. I don't play the games, you understand, but My Lady and Gentle Sir played with the children, after the grand children went to bed. Of course, then I could be up and watch what was going on, and it was very exciting. Now I am still tired though and will have to catch up on my sleep for a while to make up for lost time. Gee it was fun and we were glad they came to visit. Now I can go back to playing with my toys, especially my favorite one. The old octopus leg is still hanging in there, despite all the shaking I give it. Still have a few of the legs left. An interesting toy it was even though now it is in separate pieces. Have you found my other blog? Kheldar's Yorkie blog.com? Someday I might try to have only that one instead of two; however, for now I am repeating both blogs with the same data. Let me know. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

I Ran and Ran!

Wow! What a time I had. The two little boys just chased me all over the house. I ran and ran until I was exhausted, but then I turned around, and in true terrier fashion, snapped at them because they just wouldn't let me alone. My Lady decided I had had enough and put me in her bedroom on the bed so I could rest. Because I am so small, the little boys just thought they could catch me, pick me up, and play with me like a toy. They loved our dog toys. We have a whole basket of them, and I think they thought I was one, too. They played nicely with Dragon Hawke, the Papillion; and Gabriel, the Chinese Crested Puff; but they just were different with me. Of course, the other dogs are bigger and tougher. My Lady knew I had put up with it as long as I could, but then I snapped. Good. I didn't hurt anyone but they got the message. I was terrified that they were going to step on me because I am small, but that is the way Teacup Yorkies are. The boys played with the other two dogs and were fine. I am usually okay around older people, but keep those little ones away from me. Please. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.
PS. I hope you notice that I am trying to keep two blogs going so you will be able to keep up with what I am doing. Which blog is easier to find? This one or Kheldar's Yorkie Blog.com. I do want everyone to find me easily. Please, let me know.

Resting Up Today!

We sure had a grand weekend with the grandsons here! As you can see though, I am resting up today. We went places, showing everyone St. Louis, and they were thrilled with our apartment and this lovely area. Of course, they were thrilled with the way Dragon Hawke, Gabriel, and I looked, too. We were dazzling, as you know. Had good food. My Lady and Gentle Sir had gotten all kinds of goodies in for everyone, and we got some great treats, also. We even got special treats when they went out to eat and we had to stay at home with the TV on to a good program with no ads. We watched some great movies. I especially like the ones with Lassie and Rin Tin Tin. Will tell you more about our weekend tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

My New Stairs!

How do you like my new stairway to get on the bed? It is really nice. I can bound up these stairs in no time, and they take up much less room than the old ones. Also, these are much smoother and do not snag things. Gentle Sir is always finding things to make our lives easier. I am trying to get my blogs figured out. I will get back to you if I can get the old one back in business. Let me know if you find it. I am really busy now with the grand children, so I will write more tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.
