Almost Done!

Here we are lying on the bed watching the action. My Lady, Great Lady, and Great Sir are hanging up all the family pictures in the bedroom. And My Lady has a lot of family pictures. First the collages went up, and they have an assortment of all kinds of family pictures in one frame. Then, the old photos of the great grand- parents and the grandparents were put up around the collages. My Lady has some terrific photos of Great Sir and Great Lady who have been married for 58 years in December. You can imagine that over the years, they have accrewed quite a few pictures. Then, there are the photos of the children and grand children. So cute. And there are pictures of Gideon, a darling full-sized Yorkshire Terrier who was the very first one in the family. Great Lady always said that he had personality, and she really loved that one almost as much as she likes me. Of course, there was also Lady Hawke, the first teacup yorkie in the family who even had the cutest puppies ever. Talk about tiny, they were very small and so precious. Naturally, they are all long gone, but they sure gave My Lady the desire to have more dogs and always a Yorkie in the bunch. That is why we now have a Chinese Crested Puff, a Papillion, and me, the real Teacup Yorkshire Terrier. My picture will be up there one day, but I have the blog, and that is really special. Love until tomorrow from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

What Fun My Lady Had!

Yesterday, Gentle Sir took My Lady, Great Lady and Great Sir to a fine restaurant for a late lunch. This was kind of a payment for all the work hanging the pictures. It is a job Gentle Sir does not like to do, and Great Sir does it with grace and terrific patience as Great Lady tells him where to place each one. "Well, first we have to move the desk and put the cases with all the CDs in it in place of the desk." Now, this is no small task because all the CDs fall on the floor and have to be realphabetized because My Lady thinks they have to be that way. Of course, there are hundreds of them--two large book cases filled with CDs. Then, too, the desk is heavy, and My Lady had to help move it without hurting her back. Then, they started hanging the pictures. First, the large wolf picture, then the smaller wolves, the snow cats, and eventually the oils that My Lady painted years ago. Great Lady especially likes "The Wave" and "Moonlight on Monteray Bay." Well, eventually they got 27 pictures done, a clock, and heavy mirror. I am glad to say that I was at the groomer's and came home when it was all done. I look pretty spiffy, too. This is the photo of me before the trimming. I will try to get my spiffy look in soon. They had a good dinner and were very happy. I got some treats, too. It was a great day. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

They Are Here!

Here we are, Kheldar and Gabriel, waiting for Great Lady to give us a treat. Oh, it is good to have them here--both Great Lady and Great Sir, but it is really hectic now. They came into our new apartment and started moving furniture. Well, we could hardly go any place. We hid in the corner and watched them as they started to get things moved around and then began hanging the pictures My Lady has had sitting all over the house, waiting to be put up on the walls. First the "Last Waltz" picture went up, and "The Street of Broken Dreams." Then a whole series of drawings and art works by Son J, Daughter-in-Law V, and Daughter Val. Wow! They do really great work, and My Lady is so proud of her dear children. Then the horse picture went up next to the wall of wolves. It really looks terrific. They left to go back to their motor home promising to come back tomorrow to hang up My Lady's oil paintings that she has done. They go over the sofa so we won't be able to get in that area then. It really looks better, but what chaos it was here today. Great Sir took some more photos of us, but it will take a while to get them in the computer so I can show them to you. Cute. Will write more about it tomorrow. Love from Kheldar the Yorkie.
