Camping Out Inside!

Here I am sleeping on the air mattress on the floor in our new apartment with My Lady and Gentle Sir until the movers come on Monday and bring the furniture. You know, it really is kind of fun. My Lady has a hard time getting up off the floor, but this is easier for me than climbing the steps Gentle Sir built for me so I can get into the big bed. We are actually quite cozy and send out for food each night, or if they go out some place, they bring me something tasty to add to my kibbles and bits. We have just the bare necessities, but I like it here so far. I think we are all going to be very happy here in our new home. We are getting things all cleaned up and ready for placing everything in the rooms. This place is a little bigger, however, so I am sure it will all fit just fine. I will try to write tomorrow, but with everything in chaos now, I am not sure just what we will be doing. Moving is always a bit of a challenge, but every place we have ever moved has always been nicer or maybe I am just easier to please. As long as we are together though, I am happy. Moved at Last!

Thank goodness, My Lady brought my pillow, along with her and Great Sir's air mattress, cleaning supplies, food and leashes for Dragon Hawke and Gabriel, and me, and a few other essentials so we could drive to St. Louis, and move into our new apartment. It is so hard to find a motel that they decided to set up "camp" in our new apartment until the furniture gets here on Monday. That's when we will have to be locked in the bathroom again while they bring in the things. That way I won't get stepped on and the other "boys" won't bark or get in the way. Gentle Sir went out for pizza after we arrived, I got just a tiny taste of that. Of course, I got my carrots, too, which I really love. My Lady is busy getting the shelf paper installed and the things all washed off, even though the apartment is really very nice and clean. I think I am going to like it here, and we have our own veranda which I really love. Yes, this is going to be a very nice place. We called Great Lady and Great Sir and told them we got here just fine. They are going to the July 4th Golf Cart Parade and will be watching fireworks. Glad I don't have to do that. I don't like all that noise. We will see some from the veranda and that will be fine. Will try to write tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Today, the Movers Are Here!

I am in here, too, even though you can't see me, along with Dragon Hawke, the black and while Papillion, and Gabriel, the Chinese Crested Puff, locked in the bathroom for the day while the movers are packing My Lady's possessions. Of course, Gentle Sir is here, too, getting his things packed, along with ours. I know I will go for a walk once in a while, but this is a big day, and I have been told we three dogs have to stay out of the way. My Lady packed all the things from the bathroom yesterday, so then she could tell the movers to take everything out of the apartment, but they had to stay out of the bathroom where we are today. We have another bathroom for guests, but this one is ours.
Of course, we can rest up today because tomorrow we shall be on the road. Whee! We are going in the car, and I love to ride in the car with My Lady, and with all the extra boxes that have to go with us while the movers drive our things to St. Louis, Missouri. I have never been there, so I am looking forward to seeing our new home.
As I told you, My Lady and Gentle Sir had to look very hard to find a suitable apartment that would take three very small dogs. Imagine! There were places that would not have us. Maybe someday when they find out how outstanding we are, even have our own blog, they will wish they did have us celebrities staying in their apartments, but My Lady said we will really love our new place. I will have to tell you all about it as we travel and move in on Monday if all goes as planned. Tell all your dog-lover friends about my blog. Hope you like it. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

A Beautiful Day!

I have my favorite blue toy, and Dragon Hawke has his bone. We are getting our things ready for the packers who will be coming in a day or two. My Lady is still sleeping, but all is well and we know that we will be moving soon. I have to gather all my toys, bowl, leash and other favorite things so we can take some in the car and pack the rest on the big truck that will be coming. Gabriel, the Chinese Crested Puff, is still sleeping with My Lady, but Dragon Hawke and I will be ready. I sure don't want to be left behind. Moving is such a harrowing experience, but we have done it before, and I am sure this time it will be even better. We are all excited about the move so it will be fun. Got to run and get things together. Will write more later. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.
