Here we are, all three of us, getting ready to answer the door for trick or treaters. I am not sure too many people will come all the way up all the stairs to see us, but we are ready. We did send special gifts of candy to the grand children and that will be their trick or treating. They don't know the people in the area where they live, so they don't go. Great Lady and Great Sir live in an area with no children, so they gave candy to the Noah's Ark Festival which is an alternative to trick or treating since going door to door has become rather dangerous in their area. This festival is a chance for children and parents to come, show off their costumes, and get free candy, hotdogs, soda, chips, and they can play games until they are tired. They can sit on a fire engine, and parents can even get health checks, so it is a real fun time put on by all the churches in the community.
