My Toy Basket!

Going to my toy basket under the coffee table to get a new toy to play with for a while. I have quite a selections, as you can see, and I often get them all out and then have to put them away when I am done, but it is so much fun. I love to pull them out and play with each one for a while. Then, when My Lady says, "Put your toys away, Kheldar, I go right away and do it. It really takes me a while sometimes, but I am getting out my favorite blue toy now. At least My Lady tells me the toy I play with a lot is blue. I really can't tell that, you know. I see shades of gray. More tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Resting Up Today!

Taking it easy today on my pink pillow. My Lady is still not up to par, but I think she is a little better. We are still taking it easy though. I am sure waiting for warmer weather, but I think everyone is doing that. We still have a time to go so we will just have to take it slow now and get ready for spring when we can run outside again. Glad we have a nice warm place though and can be so cozy. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

On Our Walk!

Going for a walk with Dragon Hawke on the left, Gabriel on the right, and I, Kheldar, am in the middle. You have to look hard to see me, but remember I am a four-pound teacup Yorkie. I may be small, but I hold my own in most situations. My Lady is taking us for short walks because she still isn't feeling too good; however, you know we do need to go outside some anyway. Gentle Sir is gone all day to work, but he does take us out once in a while early in the morning and later at night, but otherwise it is up to My Lady to get us outside. Remember, she has to go up and down a long, long stairway since we are on the second floor, too. Not the best when you don't feel well. Well, that is the way things are. When it is nice outside, it is great, but in this cold miserable weather, it is not as much fun. Often I need my sweater on, too. Well, more tomorrow from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Dragon Hawke Subs Today!

Here I am, Dragon Hawke, the Papillion, telling you about the news today since My Lady is still sick, but hopefully, she is on the mend. She just doesn't do well in this cold, cold weather, and even if she bundles up in her long warm coat, her stocking hat, gloves, and boots, she still is cold. Now I have a heavy fur coat and really don't feel the cold too much except on my feet, but it is much colder here this winter than it was in Nashville last year. Gentle Sir is taking very good care of her, so she should get better soon. I sure do hope so. I feel guilty making her go out for walks, but she takes us out despite all. She is getting more sleep, however, and takes a nap each day so that is the best way to get better. She is really excited about the book being published at Amazon.com "Hear What Your Dog Says!" and is busy working on Volume 3 now since Volume 2 is in the proof stage and should be published soon. We have all been working hard on those, and remember Volume 3 will be about me and Gabriel and Kheldar. Even our pictures are on the cover! Do you know how exciting it is to have a book written about you and by you? You do know that we help a lot, but Kheldar is the historian and one who gets the most credit because he does the telling just as he does in this blog. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie, and Dragon Hawke, the substitute today.

Gabriel Subs Today!

Here I am, Gabriel, the Chinese Crested Puff, sitting here waiting for My Lady to get over her cold. Gosh, this cold weather really affects her and, of course, she has to go out in the cold to take us out for walks. She has been resting and hoping it does not turn into pneumonia again. Scarey. Things are very exciting here with the two books waiting for proof copies. Just think! Two more to join the "Hear What Your Dog Says!" Volume 1 which has been published at Amazon.com already. You can just bring up Amazon.com and type in the title "Hear What Your Dog Says!" and it comes right up with a bit about the book and a blurb about My Lady and her publishing partners. Won't be long now before Volume 2 will be out, too, and they are even working on Volume 3 which is about me and Dragon Hawke and Kheldar. We will make a great book with all our antics and things we do with the grandsons, too. I can hardly wait. Even my picture, along with Dragon Hawke and Kheldar's pictures, are all on the cover of Volume 3 so you will have to watch for that one when it gets out. Kheldar is checking on My Lady now, so I am sending the post this time. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie, and Gabriel today.

Getting Proof Copies!

Can you believe it? My Lady and Great Lady have just ordered the proof copies of a new volume of "Hear What Your Dog Says! Volume 2" AND another book we have been working on, "CROSSBREED, Volume 1" which is an interesting one about a good young man who by the time he was twenty-one, he had become a werewolf and a vampire through no fault of his own, but now that he has these fearsome traits, he does only good with them, becoming judge, jury, and executioner of murdering cut-throats out to harm his town's people in Lich, Germany. He has a fine family life with his father who is a Grand Baron and a loving, caring dad, and his mother who dotes on her son, not knowing all his problems, only wanting a good marriage for him and to have the wife and grandchildren to come and live in a wing of their huge castle. Makes for a very interesting and exciting story. Both books should be on sale before long at Amazon.com where "Hear What Your Dog Says! Volume 1" is now on sale. Of course, my picture is on the back cover of each book because I help a great deal with the writing and publishing. What fun! Tell you more about it tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Getting a Bath!

Here I am in the big bath tub getting a bath, and My Lady's daughter-in-law V is giving it to me. When My Lady fell down on the slippery place a while ago, she really hurt her knees to say nothing of spraining her left thumb. Ugh! It has been a bad time here because she is creatively left-handed. So before the kids left, dear V gave all of us baths because she can kneel down by the tub. She was very gentle and did a really fine job. Hated to see her leave. My Lady though is slowly recovering and hopefully she will get the brace off her thumb soon. Do you know how wonderful it is to have a thumb? Well, when you have one and can't use it, it is awful! The doctor said she can start to take it off a bit now if she doesn't hurt it again. Well, that is easier said than done. We are managing but it is hard. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.
