Oh, They Had to Leave!

This is not the picture of Gabriel I wanted to show you, but it is the only one I have now. The best photo would have been of him and Damien lying in the bed this morning sound asleep with Damien's arm around Gabriel. They looked so cute. My Lady went in to be sure the guest bedroom door was closed because we dogs like to go into the guest room if we can. She was late, however, and Gabriel had already slipped in, jumped in the bed, and was curled up next to Damien who was sound asleep but with his arm about the little dog. Gabriel had appreciated the peanut butter treat, even if it had made him a little sick. Real friends! I couldn't get up in that bed because I need the stairway to get up in My Lady and Gentle Sir's bed. That is part of theproblem of being a teacup Yorkie. I did hear all about the big night they had at Chuckie Cheese. The boys just loved it. It was Gentle Sir's idea, and he sure had that one just right. Have to leave today. It was a short visit, but a great one! Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Bringing Toys Out to Play!

Here I am bringing a yellow toy out from under the coffee table so the boys and I can play. They are such fun now, and I have been running around with my toys and playing fetch. They are really having a good time. The boys get a kick out of playing with my toys. We toss them and go pick them up and see who can get them first. I am small but can get in little places and under the table fast. I am holding my own. Then, My Lady puts a cloth on the coffee table and the boys get snacks there. Woops, one of them felt sorry for Gabriel and gave him some peanut butter from his sandwich. Of course, Gabriel, the Chinese Crested Puff has such a sensative stomach that it made him feel sick. Oops! He is fine now, but a good deed was not the best one for him, but who was to know? I could have handled it just fine and so could Dragon Hawke who can even eat bugs, but poor old Gabriel. He just can't take it. One walk outside and he was fine though. I wait patiently by the table just for a bite or two and often I get just a little. Never happens with My Lady and Gentle Sir though. We always have our regular routine and same type of goodies. Gosh, we are having a good time. Write more tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

A Wonderful Day!

Here is Dragon Hawke greeting our dear guests. My Lady's son J, his wife V, Ashton, and Damien came today from Nashville. What a great time we are going to have. They were so glad to be here and were just wonderful. The boys have grown so much and are much better with us, too. I didn't have to go into my bedroom at all. They petted me, but didn't chase me or try to pick me up at all. It was great! We are going to have a grand time. I won't even mind when they leave us home while they go out to eat together. They really enjoy that. They will be here all day Sunday and Monday morning until they have to leave for their drive home. Whee! What fun we will have. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Still More Waiting!

Here we are all three of us still waiting. We got a call from Son J and his wife V who found they had an opportunity to have a teacher-parent conference this afternoon about Ashton who just started school this fall. Being the very good parents they are, they decided to put off their trip until tomorrow, leaving early in the morning and take advantage of this meeting with the teacher. That was the most important thing to do, and we all thought it was a very good idea. So we will patiently continue to wait until tomorrow when they should arrive in the afternoon and stay until Monday. Whee! What fun! We will just have a nice evening in our very clean house. That is not all bad, you know. Tomorrow My Lady and Gentle Sir will do their shopping early in the morning, bringing home all kinds of good things, and get home in time for the guests to arrive. We will watch over "the fort here" and be ready when they come. Will write more about our visit when I can. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

More Waiting!

Gabriel is sitting waiting for the guests. He knows the boys will chase him around, but he will try to go sit with Gentle Sir or Son J. He does like men and thinks they will take care of him without all the fussing. My Lady is always busy getting the house cleaned up and the precious knick-knacks put up high so the coffee table is cleared off and ready for a table cloth and snacks. Most things are ready now, and we are just waiting. It is always exciting when they all come. I am watching and waiting for the doorbell to ring at any time. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Getting Ready for Guests!

Here I am getting ready for guests. I was just putting my old froggie toy away in the toy basket so My Lady can get the carpet cleaned. That is one of the last steps allowing a day or so for laundry and rest before they come. Her son J, his wife V, Ashton and Damien will be here on Friday for the whole weekend, leaving on Monday. We are so excited to have them come. Of course, part of the time I am closed up in the bedroom for a time out because the three-year old loves to chase me, tries to hug me, and just thinks I am a toy. Well, I AM a toy teacup yorkshire terrier, but it is hard for me to be chased and dragged around so My Lady watches over me very well. Ashton is older and doesn't bother me too much, but the little one, who is three, just doesn't understand how fragile I am even though My Lady says I am really as tough and feisty as a bull dog; nevertheless, she takes very good care of me and prevents me from getting too worn out. Dragon Hawke and Gabriel are bigger and can manage better, but being only four pounds, the boys like to pick me up and hold me often, and I get tired, so My Lady says, "Kheldar needs a nap now." Then I get to go lie on her bed and snooze for a while. Very nice! I am excited to see them and they are getting better about letting me just sit on their laps and be still; however, they are still young. I remember that I pestered the other dogs when I was just a pup, too. Got to get the rest of my toys picked up now. Write more tomorrow. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.

Dragon Hawke Is Just as Nice!

Here is Dragon Hawke, our black and white elegant Papillion who I think is very nice. Well, I saw the "Animal Planet's" dog show the other night and a black and white Papillion won 2nd or 3rd place and I am sure our Dragon Hawke is every bit as nice as that one. I am delighted, however, that a Papillion won this honor and am very proud of ours. Dragon Hawke truly has lovely markings and those nice "butterfly" ears, even if My Lady will not let him have the long fur hanging from them. We are all clipped and groomed for our comfort, not show. In fact, Dragon Hawke has such thick fur that he is stripped to thin it out, so he doesn't shed as much. Of course, I don't shed at all. I am really special. Glad Great Lady's wrist is getting better. She cannot wear the brace and type at the same time, so I am very glad she can do this again for me. I do so like to keep in touch with you. Love from Kheldar, the Yorkie.
